Exigences

  • A pragmatic customer-centric attitude, strong problem-solving skills and cooperative team focus
  • admitted solicitor in an EU jurisdiction or in the UK, ideally having the ability to counsel in multiple jurisdictions and to negotiate in French or German
  • excellent legal and business judgment with the ability both to assess risks quickly and to communicate those risks to business partners in easy to understand terms
  • excellent written and oral communication skills with clients, partners and the business in English
  • ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels under pressure in a rapidly changing environment and to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly, diplomatically, and effectively
  • experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus

Responsabilité

  • support the continuous improvement of the privacy program, privacy resources and templates needed to support the adoption of RingCentral services
  • understand and document the impact of product features and data flows on RingCentral commercial posture
  • support the continuous improvement of global standard form privacy agreements, playbooks, and internal knowledge resources
  • develop training and templates to educate the rest of the legal team and the deals desk on commercial privacy issues
  • facilitate the onboarding of customers and partners in Europe, in collaboration with the rest of the privacy team, by responding to questionnaires and assessment
  • monitor legal developments, collaborate and build relationships with industry peers, to stay abreast of trends and issues in Europe, as they may impact RingCentral’s privacy posture, templates, and commercial practices
