Avis Leanspace

Leanspace recherche un Product Manager pour son logiciel de contrôle de satellites. Poste stratégique à temps partiel, basé à Strasbourg, nécessitant un minimum de 4 jours de présence au bureau. Implication élevée attendue dans le développement produit et réunions d'affaires fréquentes.

Quelles sont les expériences au sein de Leanspace, notamment en termes d'attentes stratégiques versus avantages? Qui a des retours sur travailler dans un environnement dynamique dédié aux technologies spatiales?

Great place to work. I have been with them for a while and everyone in the team is amazing. Professional but fun. A good place to contribute towards something that matters.

They organized a Hackathon for students in November 2021, during the Bremen Space Expo. They waited until they had confirmation that we had booked our plane tickets before they detailed the hackathon (as we were all students, we couldn't necessarily afford the insurance that would allow us to refund our flight in case of cancellation). Not only was this "Hackathon" just a job in disguise where they expected us to develop one of their software components for them, but on top of that, they didn't have a place for us to work and we had to insist that they find one for us (they originally wanted us to work in our hotel, but they insisted that we should come to Bremen rather than participate remotely).

In short, they withheld information that would have made us reconsider our application and made us work for them for free under the guise of a "Hackathon" (they gave us 500€ per team to "cover" the transportation costs to Bremen, but these were about 400€ per person at the time, not counting the Hotel).

Great team and managers. It's very exciting to work with such smart people, very international and with very innovative ideas for the Space industry. On top of that, Strasbourg is a great city in Alsace to live in. I highly recommend working here.
